Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 06/08/2026
Overview
This policy explains how membership, consultation, and certain other talent‑facing fees are billed, canceled, and refunded at The Collective Dance Agency LLC(“CDA”). By purchasing a membership, consultation, or similar service, you agree to this policy.
Free Job Board vs. paid Membership
CDA’s job board is available to browse without membership.
Membership tiers (“the Collective”) are optional paid programs that provide additional benefits such as curated and partner‑only opportunities, coaching, portfolio/social‑media support, and other services as described on our website.
Membership billing
Memberships may be monthly, annual, or offered on other terms as described at checkout.
You will see the price and billing frequency before purchase.
By purchasing, you authorize CDA (or our payment provider) to charge your payment method for the initial and recurring fees, if applicable.
Prices and benefits for new purchases may change over time. Changes typically do not affect a membership period you already paid for, but may apply at your next renewal.
Recurring Memberships and Cancellation
If you enroll in a recurring membership:
Your membership will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
You may cancel any time before your next renewal date to stop future charges.
Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically create a refund for charges already processed for the current period.
To cancel, follow the instructions provided on the website, inside your account, or contact info@thecollectivedanceagency.com.
No-Proration Policy
Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing:
Membership fees are billed for the full term.
We do not typically prorate or refund unused portions of a membership period due to early cancellation, inactivity, scheduling conflicts, or a personal decision not to use available benefits.
Consultations, Content support, and one-time services
Fees for one‑time services (such as consultations, content strategy sessions, filming support, or certain workshops) are generally non‑refundable once the session is scheduled and work has begun, unless CDA cancels the service or the law requires otherwise.
If CDA cancels a session that cannot be reasonably rescheduled, we may offer a refund or credit at our discretion.
Application, audition, or review fees
If CDA charges an application, audition, or review fee separate from membership:
That fee covers the time and expertise involved in reviewing your materials.
The fee is non‑refundable once your materials have been received and review has begun.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance into any program or membership, nor selection for any specific opportunity.
Exclusive and partner-only opportunities
Membership may provide access to certain member‑only or partner‑only opportunities. However:
We cannot guarantee any minimum number of opportunities, gigs, or roles.
Being a member does not guarantee selection for any particular opportunity.
Opportunities may depend on partner demand, timing, fit, and other factors outside CDA’s control.
chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact CDA first so we can try to resolve it. Filing a chargeback on a valid membership or service may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of access to the Services, depending on the circumstances.
Policy changes
We may update this Membership Cancellation & Refund Policy over time. The version in effect at the time you purchase or renew a membership will generally apply to that term, to the extent allowed by law.
