Talent Request & Deposit Policy

This policy outlines how Talent Requests and deposits are handled through the collective dance agency (“cda”).

1. Talent Request Deposit

A Talent Request Deposit is required to submit a professional request for dancers or choreographers through CDA.

The deposit:

  • Confirms submission of a Talent Request

  • Reserves administrative review and facilitation time

  • Allows CDA to review project details and help facilitate introductions

The deposit does not guarantee talent availability, booking, or project outcomes.

2. Deposit Amount

The current Talent Request Deposit is $250 USD, unless otherwise stated.

Deposit amounts may be updated at CDA’s discretion and will always be clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

3. How CDA Facilitates Talent Requests

CDA reviews each Talent Request for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with available members on the platform.

CDA may:

  • Clarify project details with the client

  • Identify and facilitate introductions with relevant dancers or choreographers

CDA does not:

  • Guarantee artist availability or acceptance

  • Negotiate contracts or compensation

  • Act as an employer, agent, or representative for talent

All project details, agreements, and payments are handled directly between the client and the artist.

4. Refund Eligibility

The Talent Request Deposit is refundable if:

  • CDA determines the request cannot be fulfilled due to lack of alignment or available talent

  • The request cannot proceed for reasons outside the client’s control

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

The deposit may be non-refundable if:

  • Talent introductions have already been facilitated

  • The client chooses not to proceed after introductions are made

  • The client provides incomplete or inaccurate project information

5. Application of Deposit

If a Talent Request proceeds to introductions, the deposit may be applied toward CDA facilitation fees or credited toward services as outlined in the client’s confirmation email.

Application of the deposit does not replace compensation owed to artists, which is determined directly between the client and the artist.

6. Professional Conduct

CDA is committed to respectful, transparent, and ethical collaboration.

Clients are expected to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project information

  • Communicate professionally with artists

  • Honor agreed-upon terms once a collaboration is initiated

CDA reserves the right to decline or discontinue facilitation if a request does not align with these standards.

7. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated as the CDA platform evolves. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply to each Talent Request.
