The collective Dance agency

Connect with professional dancers and choreographers through a transparent, talent-first platform.

Two models, a woman and a man, pose together against a gray background. They wear matching dark, baggy, streetwear-style clothing, with the woman showing her midriff and the man with his hands in his pockets.

The Collective Dance Agency (CDA) connects creative teams, brands, studios, and collaborators with dancers and choreographers who take their work seriously.

CDA is not a traditional agency and does not represent talent exclusively. Instead, we provide a structured, professional platform where clients can discover artists, request talent, and initiate collaborations with clarity and respect.

Whether you’re seeking performers, choreographers, or creative collaborators, CDA helps streamline the connection process—without gatekeeping or unnecessary barriers.

We prioritize clarity, respect, and collaboration—so projects run smoothly for everyone involved.

how Requesting Talent Through CDA works

Clients will submit a Talent Request

  • Clients begin by submitting a Talent Request through CDA’s request form. This form collects essential details about your project so we can understand your needs clearly and efficiently.

    You’ll be asked to share:

    • The type of project (performance, choreography, event, content, etc.)

    • Timeline or key dates

    • Location (in-person or virtual)

    • Type and number of artists requested

    • Budget range and payment structure

    • Any style, experience, or logistical requirements

A refundable request deposit is collected at this stage to confirm your submission and reserve administrative review time.

  • Once your request is submitted, CDA reviews the information to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with available talent on the platform.

    This step allows us to:

    • Clarify any missing or unclear details

    • Identify CDA members whose work may align with your project

    • Prepare your request for professional outreach

CDA does not guarantee talent availability, but we ensure your request is communicated clearly and professionally.

  • After review, CDA helps facilitate introductions with relevant dancers or choreographers whose experience and work may align with your project.

Connections are made with respect for:

    • Artistic fit

    • Availability

    • Professional boundaries

At this stage, artists may review your project details and determine interest independently.

  • Once connected, all project discussions, contracts, timelines, and compensation are handled directly between you and the artist.

    CDA does not:

    • Broker contracts

    • Set rates

    • Manage project execution

    • Act as an employer or representative

Our role is to support clear, ethical, and professional connection — not to interfere with creative collaboration.

  • By using CDA’s request system, clients gain access to a professional network of dancers and choreographers who take their work seriously and value transparent collaboration.

Whether your project moves forward immediately or requires additional coordination, CDA ensures the process begins with clarity, respect, and professionalism.

CDA facilitates connection—but does not broker contracts or guarantee availability.

client talent Request FAQs

What happens after I submit a talent request?

1

After you submit your request, CDA reviews the project details to ensure clarity and readiness. We will reach out if we need additional information, then we begin the process of identifying members who align with your needs.

You will receive a confirmation email with next steps and an estimated timeline for talent outreach.

CDA uses the details you provide in the request form to match your needs with member profiles that best fit your criteria (style, experience, location, etc.). We do not guarantee specific artists, but we do facilitate connections with members whose work aligns with your description.

How does CDA identify suitable talent for my project?

2

Once introductions are made, clients and artists communicate directly to discuss details like scope, compensation, scheduling, contracts, and other logistics. CDA does not negotiate contracts or handle project management — we facilitate connection and clarity.

What happens once talent is proposed/connected?

3

A refundable deposit secures administrative review of your request and indicates commitment to the process. If your request cannot be fulfilled due to a lack of suitable talent or project misalignment, the deposit is fully refundable according to CDA’s Talent Request Policy.

Once introductions begin, the deposit can be applied toward facilitation fees or a full service payment as agreed.

Is the deposit refundable, and how does it work?

4

No. Submitting a request and paying a deposit does not guarantee that a specific artist will be available or choose to participate in your project. CDA helps facilitate introductions, but final engagement depends on mutual agreement between you and the artist.

Does this guarantee that I will book talent?

6

How soon will I receive responses or proposals?

Response timelines vary based on project details, availability of talent, and completeness of your request. CDA will provide an estimated timeline in your confirmation email when you submit your request.

After introductions are made, you and the artist negotiate terms directly. Payment methods, contracts, and schedules are agreed upon between both parties. CDA does not handle payments or contractual arrangements between clients and artists.
